Boone Sucks (tell your friends) follows Thilo Schröter as he ventures deep into the backwoods bouldering scene of Boone, North Carolina—a destination that, despite the self-deprecating title, clearly punches well above its reputation. Produced by Mellow and sponsored by Arc'teryx, this 21-minute film documents Schröter's relentless push through one of America's most underrated hard bouldering areas. The film builds to a remarkable finish: two coveted V15 second ascents in a single trip, a performance that puts Boone firmly on the map for serious boulderers. Beyond the raw power on display, the film captures the spirit of discovery in a region that rarely makes international headlines—a compelling reminder that world-class stone can be found far from the beaten path.
