Naked Edge Speed Record [Raw Footage!] 14 Minutes 14 Seconds for John Ebers and Ben Wilbur

Naked Edge Speed Record drops you into the raw, unfiltered rush of a record-breaking lap on Eldorado Canyon’s legendary Redgarden Wall. On May 22, 2020, John Ebers and Ben Wilbur go all-in on “The Naked Edge,” charging from the bridge over South Boulder Creek to the base, up the approach pitches, through the route’s three distinct 5.11 pitches, and back down—an all-out mission that resets the benchmark for one of Colorado’s most iconic multipitch tests. What makes this worth your 18 minutes is the immediacy: no polish, no over-explaining—just the real tempo of fast movement, quick transitions, and razor-thin efficiency where seconds matter. Whether you’re into speed climbing, simul tactics, or simply want to feel what it’s like when commitment and precision collide on steep rock, this footage captures the kind of focused urgency that turns a classic line into a stopwatch-worthy obsession.
